Arise Marketing Solutions has an open
position at its Portland, Oregon location for an energetic, experienced Inside
Sales Professional who will drive the sales of the company's world-class Sales
Outsourcing Solutions. While this position is specifically for
inside sales, the position could grow into inside sales of the company's
complimentary consulting services as well.

This position
is open to Portland area candidates only. We do not offer relocation
assistance. We do not accept resumes from outside the Portland Metro
area. You must be a local candidate.
This position
is open to Principals only. No recruiters or temp agencies, please.
This key responsibilities of this Inside
Sales Position are as follows:
You will be
responsible for selling our suite of sales outsourcing services and solutions
to existing and new customers, primarily via telephone and email. You
will actively seek decision-makers, typically marketing managers and sales
managers, via cold calling, referrals, telemarketing and web leads, and
industry networking.
You will answer
the inbound request line (both telephone and email) and follow-up quickly to
customers requests.
3 to 5+ years of
successful experience selling training and/or consulting services.
Proven ability
to hit daily or weekly goals of outbound telephone contact with customers,
including cold calling and targeting key customer accounts. You must be
comfortable closing sales over the phone.
Exceptional
ability to work and think independently and as part of a team.
Excellent phone
and email selling skills. You are expected to have good grammar, spelling, and
exercise good judgment while communicating with customers.
Strong
proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with PowerPoint and
Adobe Acrobat is highly valued.
Experience with
Act! or a similar sales tracking tool.
The ideal
candidate will be reliable, largely self managing, high spirited, energetic,
and optimistic.
Additional experience
in the following areas are important and valued:
Marketing
planning and research, particularly targeted account researching and outbound
email campaigns.
Experience
selling technical software products to engineers and managers.
Ability to
manage other junior inside sales staff
